What is mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a nonsurgical cosmetic solution aimed at diminishing problem areas in the body such as cellulite, excess weight, body contouring, and face/neck rejuvenation. It involves many tiny injections of well-known skin ingredients to promote collagen and elastin, while boosting cell metabolism.
Benefits
Mesotherapy visibly refines silhouette, smoothing hips, buttocks, stomach area, arms, and thighs. It alters the appearance of the skin, giving it a tighter look.
The effect can be seen instantly. As soon as the brief redness disappears, you’ll see a rejuvenated look. And the good news is that it lasts for weeks, since the treatment is more than skin deep. Rather than enhancing the surface of your skin like a cream, this treatment refreshes your skin from the inside out for overall complexion health.
Other benefits can include:
- Removal of fat in areas like the stomach, thighs, buttocks, hips, legs, arms, and face
- Reduction of cellulite.
- fade wrinkles and lines
- tightening loose skin.
- recontouring the body
- lightning pigmented skin.
- Treatment of alopecia, a condition that causes hair loss.
Mesotherapy Treatment
Before
A consultation will be your first step. You’ll meet with the provider ahead of time to find out what to expect. One Week Prior you are asked to avoid aspirin (Bufferin) and other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These pain relievers can increase your risk of bleeding and bruising during mesotherapy.
During each session, you may or may not have numbing medicine applied to your skin. You’ll get a series of injections using a special short needle.
The technique involves the use of multiple intradermal or subcutaneous injections of a mixture of compounds in minute doses into the middle layer (mesoderm) of skin.
- One session every 8 days
- An average of 8 sessions
