- Plan on follow up 2 – 6 months after treatment
- Up to 4 – 6 weeks
- No swimming until the area is completely healed, salt water/chlorine can cause the pigments to fade or change in color.
- It is recommended to apply the Vaseline to the treated area/s prior to swimming even after healed to prevent the chlorine water/salt water from penetrating the area.
- Up to 5 weeks after
- Do not use any products with retinol-A.
- Up to 4 weeks after
- Avoid facials, chemical peels, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
- Up to 2 weeks after
- Avoid direct sunlight or tanning beds for 2 weeks after the tattoo.
- Avoid Botox or acid peels
- Up to 10 days after
- Avoid hot tubs, steam rooms, public pools, sweaty exercise, or submerging the tattoo in water for the first 10 days.
- Up to 1 week after
- Avoid putting makeup on the area for the first week.
- Avoidance of alcohol will help the immune system and improve the healing process.
- Avoid sleeping on your face
