- 1 year prior
- No use of Accutane for at least 1 year prior
- 4 months prior
- Do not use retinol products
- 4 weeks prior
- Do not have botox, chemical peels 3 weeks prior.
- Do not undergo laser treatments
- 3 weeks prior
- Do not tan two weeks prior or have sunburned face/skin.
- 2 weeks prior
- Do not have any type of facial 2 weeks prior to treatment.
- 1 week prior
- Do not pick/thread/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week before the procedure.
- Do not get exposed to heavy sunlight, especially sunburn
- 2 days prior
- DO NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen, omega-3, unless medically necessary (Tylenol or Acetaminophen is okay!)
- For any Lip treatment, you must STOP USING Valtrex
- For any Lip treatment, keep lips moisturize at all times prior to appointment
- Day of treatment
- Do not drink alcohol or coffee as these can lead to thinning of blood
- The recommended waiting time between the consumption of alcoholic or caffeinated products prior to a permanent makeup treatment is 24 hours (the night before definitely still counts!).
- Do not work out the day of the procedure.
